Near-by Purley Cross is full of traffic lights with varying lanes it is the gateway to many other towns and routes and leads to the Motorway (M25)

Chipstead has many narrow country lanes with passing places. 
Near-By Addington has the added problem of trams. The sign posts for these can look confusing.
