Areas of Importance when taking driving lessons in Streatham

On your lessons in the Streatham area, your instructor will know which areas to take you depending on your ability and lesson plan for that day. A Suitable area is required for each lesson plan to go to plan. For instants its no good doing your reversing lessons on a busy road, thus be unable to perform the exercise enough times to master it independently. Lesson Plan: Moving away and stopping

The Norbury area nearby to Streatham is ideal for the novices. After you have been told what all the controls do. Your Instructor is now ready to get you driving. Moving off is combining hand and feet control to move off safely, drive in a normal driving position from the kerb and be able to park again.



Lesson Plan: Pedestrian Crossings:

The Streatham high street area has many different types of crossings from Pelicans with flashing amber lights to staggered crossing. Pedestrian safely is paramount. They can do silly things but you will be taught the clues on anticipating their actions at crossings.


Lesson Plan: Dual Carriageways and Lane Discipline

Your Instructor will take you up and down the High street of Streatham. This road is perfect for making sure you stick to the appropriate lane for your destination. Plus with the speed limit varying from 30mph to 60mph, you will be able to master the car at speed.


Lesson Plan: Emergency Stops

Obviously to perform this exercise for the first time you need to go somewhere in Streatham without there being other road users. Your instructor will know all the best areas. This exercise needs to have quick reactions, but still maintain control of your vehicle.


Lesson Plan: Meeting Traffic


Many pupils have failed the test on this, but not so with Apex. Our techniques are great for this tricky subject. You will be taken to many areas known to your instructor that have the perfect conditions. You will need lots and lots of parked cars. Pendennis road area of Streatham is ideal.

Its importance is second to none. You will be taken to hilly areas such as The Mount or nearby pine walk. To master clutch control you will have to combine your clutch pedal and gas pedal. The Biting point is the trigger word here.
